Pilgrims BBQ night at TRAC

Thirteen children (including a nine month old), seven parents and eight helpers had a very enjoyable time at TRAC making use of some of their excellent facilities, the ‘zip wire’ and adventure playground were particularly popular.

The food was great, superb sausages supplied by one of parents (Claire Tovey) and lovely meaty burgers from the local butcher, all cooked to perfection by  Pete on the BBQ. The sun shone as we sat down for our meal and the Rev Michael Bennett (who used to come to Pilgrims when he worked in Dymock) gave a very interesting talk about “Worship” and getting us to join him in singing three action choruses.

We begin Pilgrims again on Monday nights at the Chapel on September 12th at 6.30pm, all children 7 (or will be 7 in the school year) to 12 are very welcome.
