Dave Farrants of Fox Video has worked his video wizardry once again and got Mike Hencher on YouTube. There's a few 'thought for the day' type programmes and 12 sessions of apologetics. For those who only use the old Latin word, apologia, in the sense of saying sorry, there is another meaning. Originally it meant a defence of something. These videos give the solid reasons for believing in the Christian faith. There are cold hard facts to check out. Christmas may give some the opportunity to figure out the reason for the season.

Not all of the Ten Commandments are negative. In fact, if we lived by them the prisons would be empty and we would have the peace we are all looking for. Our next All-Age Service on the 21st at 11am will include a couple of fun ways of learning the Commandments in order. Do join us for this important refresher course.
At 6:30 the first part of a DVD will be shown based on the life of one of the greatest Baptist preachers of all time - Charles Spurgeon

Vic Newman will be speaking at our 10:15 service and the evening speaker is Mike Hencher.
Next month we are commencing a brand new service. From next month onwards our Sunday morning service will be at 11am instead of 10:15am.
So that will mean all our morning services will be at 11am, including the All-Age Service on the 3rd Sunday, which has been running for some time.
We will be starting the new style meeting with a series entitled The HOPE.
We trust that just having only two times to remember will make it easier for everyone. There will always be a service at 11am and 6:30pm.

Of course, we do look for sparks to fly spiritually at our services. Almighty God is more powerful than all He has created in the Universe and we want to see His power flow to all the population around the Chapel.

Come to the All- Age Service next Sunday and leave an expert!
11am - 11:45 is when we met and the invitation is to everyone.
The 6:30 session will focus on the Whole Armour of God.
Both services will be led by Mike Hencher.

Following Morning Worship at 10:15 this Sunday we are visiting Western Way Flats at 3pm to celebrate Harvest a second time.
Those in the flats may not be able always to get out, but we can come to them.
So instead of the normal evening service we will gather with the folks at Western Way to sing some harvest hymns and thank God for his goodness to us.

At 6:30 Steve Cracknell and a team of youngsters will take us on an adventure! They have recently been to Albania the country that used to be called the "first atheist state of the world". Things are different now and the team will show photographs on the video projector to let us know just how much.
Wednesday, 22 September 2010
Our 10:15 am service will be led by Mike Hencher and at 6:30pm Theo Cracknell will be taking our Harvest Thanksgiving.
If you are not "ploughing the fields and scattering" anywhere else, do join us at the Chapel to give God thanks for His goodness
